yourself to read the book?
I didn't have to force myself to read the book at all.
The plot was pretty good and it indeed pulled me in .
It made me want to keep reading even though i would get tired
just to find out if Melinda would tell anybody what happened or
if she would stay wrapped up in her own little world of
blaming herself for what happened, trying to forget
but can't. What really pulled me in was when the boy, Andy (who
she referred to as IT) acted as if he didn't do anything to
her and made her believe she was going crazy.
I was excited to read on to see what or how she
would react to that. Then
by trying to tell her once best friend that
she's dating a rapist she thinks that everything
would go back to being the way it was
when in fact it just made the matters worse
and she was made out to be a liar.
Do you feel Melinda was doing the right thing
by telling someone even though she knew they
wouldn't believe her?

I belive that Melinda did the right thing because when something like that hapens to a woman that man should be taken care of. He deserves to be in jail for life because at least in there he wont have the opportunity to hurt another woman emotionally or phisically.

I think melinda did do the right thing by telling someone just to get it off her chest even though her friend wouldnt believe her. By telling her maybe it will help her tell other people that will believe her so that that guy could pay for what he did.
Alot of women are scared to tell the truth.

Megann. Your book seemed really good.. and I think that she did do the right thing by trying to tell someone, even if the person she told didn't believe her.
